STAR AM – Morning Program
STAR AM is an intensive morning therapy program for children who are not yet ready to transition to a regular school. Our goal is to gradually prepare them for this step, strengthening the essential skills they need to function with greater autonomy, confidence, and emotional regulation.
What do we work on?
During the day, the children participate in structured and guided activities that promote:
Independence in basic routines
Functional communication
Initial social skills
Joint attention and following of instructions
Adaptation to norms and transitions
Everything takes place in a safe therapeutic environment, with small groups and constant support.
Who is it for?
Preschool children who have adjustment difficulties
Children who are still unable to maintain school routines
Families seeking a careful transition to formal schooling
Our approach
We work from an individualized perspective, respecting each child's pace and reinforcing their achievements day by day, with continuous communication with the family.
We support children who are not yet able to integrate into a regular school, teaching them key skills for their independence, communication, and adaptation.
We work on social skills, managing challenging behaviors, and training parents to apply effective strategies in their daily routine.
We conduct developmental, attention, and academic performance tests to design personalized educational plans and guide the family and school.
We support the development of expressive language, comprehension, pronunciation, and social skills to reduce frustration and strengthen daily interaction.
We teach clear and consistent strategies for managing behaviors, supporting transitions, and creating calmer routines at home.
We align strategies between home and school to achieve sustained progress in behavior, adaptation, and academic performance.
