STAR PM – Behavioral Therapy

STAR PM is a behavioral intervention program focused on children who exhibit challenging behaviors, difficulties with self-regulation, or problems with social skills. It works with both the child and their family.

Areas of intervention

  • Managing challenging behaviors

  • Development of social skills

  • Emotional regulation

  • Frustration tolerance

  • Monitoring of rules and limits

I work with parents

A key component of the program is training for parents and caregivers. We teach practical and consistent strategies for:

  • Managing behavior at home

  • Set clear boundaries

  • Create predictable routines

  • Reduce daily conflicts

Aim

To achieve real and sustained changes in the child's behavior, aligning therapeutic work with the daily home routine.

We support children who are not yet able to integrate into a regular school, teaching them key skills for their independence, communication, and adaptation.

We work on social skills, managing challenging behaviors, and training parents to apply effective strategies in their daily routine.

We conduct developmental, attention, and academic performance tests to design personalized educational plans and guide the family and school.

We support the development of expressive language, comprehension, pronunciation, and social skills to reduce frustration and strengthen daily interaction.

We teach clear and consistent strategies for managing behaviors, supporting transitions, and creating calmer routines at home.

We align strategies between home and school to achieve sustained progress in behavior, adaptation, and academic performance.
